Winnifred B. (nee Flannigan) Mason

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our mother, Winnifred Bridget Mason on Sunday, June 26th, 2022 at 94 years of age. Winnifred was predeceased by her husband Bill, her parents; Leo and Mary Flannigan, sons; Hubert and Angus, daughter Sheila and grandsons; Andrew Jr. and Shawn.  

Leaving to mourn, with fond and loving memories are her five sons; Andy (Mercedes), Kevin (Lucina), David (Anne), Eugene (Sandra) and LeRoy (Shirley), daughter-in-law Kay, brothers; George Flannigan and Gus (Geraldine) Flannigan, sister Annie Hawco, thirteen grandchildren, a number of great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends. The family would like to offer a very special thank you, to staff at Admiral’s Coast Retirement Centre for all care and compassion shown to mom.

Resting at Dunphy’s Funeral Home, Holyrood. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, June 28th from 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Wednesday, June 29th, 2022 at Assumption Catholic Church, Avondale with interment to follow at Assumption Cemetery, Avondale.

Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in Winnifred’s memory may be made a charity of one’s choice.
