Obituary
It is with deep sorrow and much love that we announce the tragic passing of Bill Walsh of Holyrood, at the age of 69.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife Peggy (Murray), parents, Chris and Nell (Penny) Walsh, parents-in-law Walter and Eileen (Hicks) Murray, brother Phil Penny, and many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
Left with fond and loving memories are his children; Chris (JoAnne Byrne) and Karen (Wally Morgan), 5 grandchildren; Maggie, Robyn, Liam, Ryan, and William. Also leaving to mourn are his sister, Bertha Quinlan (Willy), brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Walter Murray (Mabel), Lena (Jim) Wall, Joe Murray, Joan Murray, Rose Murray, Agatha Murray, Gerard Murray (Kim), Pat Murray (Ange), Eddy Murray (Nancy), Clarence Murray (Carolyn), Cecilia Murray, Bridgette Murray, Vera Penney and companion Renee Morrissey. He will also be fondly remembered by his Hydro family, co-workers, numerous nieces, nephews and a large circle of extended family and friends.
Cremation has taken place. Resting at Dunphy’s Funeral Home, Holyrood. Visitation will take place on Monday, August 14 from 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, August 15, 2023 at Holy Cross Cemetery, Holyrood.
In lie of flowers, donations in Bill's memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
