It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of William Joseph Costello (‘Billy’, ‘Billy Joe’) on September 27, 2025, after a short courageous battle with cancer.
He was predeceased by his grandparents; Helen and Francis Ezekiel, Rita and Bill Costello, uncles; Tance Ezekiel, Mick Ezekiel, Herb Gulliver, cousins; Paul Griffin, Darrell Costello and Donny Ezekiel.
Leaving to mourn with loving memories are his wife; Seb, children; Ceyda and Taner, parents; Dot and Bill, sister; Cindy (Jay), special niece and nephew, Mylee and Jax, aunts: Lorraine (Tom), Tilley (Kevin), Catherine (Pete), Grace, Trish and Jenny, uncle; Joe (Sharon) as well as a large circle of cousins and friends.
Billy Joe was a very proud and loving father, his love for his children was out of this world. This love gave him the strength and courage to fiercely fight cancer. Over the last couple of months, he shared his journey with family and friends. Reconnecting with so many of you brought him so much happiness. He was so very grateful for the endless love and support. Although physical distance may keep people apart, memories and lifelong connections stay in our hearts forever. Thank you to everyone who kept him in their thoughts during his difficult journey. We are truly grateful. Billy Joe was a long-time member of IBEW 424.
At Billy Joe’s request cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
“We will miss you and love you always. You are forever in our hearts.”
