Doyle, Wilfred (Wilf) (Pioneer of Newfoundland Music): Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Center on Friday, June 8, 2012, Wilfred Doyle in his 87th year of Conception Harbour. Predeceased by his wives, Christina (1980) and Geraldine (2004). Left with fond and loving memories are his children: Brenda (Allan Cornick), Port Au Choix, Wilf Jr. (Rowena), Kitchener, ON, Cheryl (Stewart Costello), Conception Harbour, 6 grandchildren: Jamie Cornick (Tara), Ottawa, Adam Cornick (Ashley), Calgary, Amber, Noah, Hunter & Hailey Costello, one great-grandchild, Max Cornick, special nieces: Rosemary, Janet, Maggie & Jan, and a large circle of extended family and friends, including the residents and Staff of Woodford`s Comfort Care Manor. Resting at Dunphy`s Funeral Home, Holyrood. Visitation on Saturday & Sunday from 2 pm - 9 pm. Funeral will take place at 11:00 am on Monday, June 11, 2012 with Mass of Christian Burial from St. Anne`s Church, Conception Harbour. Interment will be in St. Anne`s Cemetery, Conception Harbour.
