Thomas J. "Tommy" Penney

Passed peacefully away surrounded by his family on December 2nd, 2024, just 2 days shy of his 75th birthday, Thomas Joseph Penney, loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.

He was predeceased by parents; Tom and Mae Penney, brother Billy, father and mother-in-law; Stan and Shirley Best, brother-in-law Terry, and his special angel daughter, Gillian.

Leaving to mourn with loving memories is his wife Cynthia of 35 years, daughters Maryann (Bill), Tammy, and son Curt (Michelle). Tammy (Jim), Lisa (Andy), Phillip (Diana) and Juanita (Wayne), all whom he loved as his own children. 18 grand children, including his special man T.J., Pops Boy, and 3 great grandchildren, as well as his extended family and large circle of friends.

At Tom’s request, cremation has taken place. The family will receive visitors at Dunphy’s Funeral Home, Holyrood. Visitation will take place on Sunday, December 8th, 2024 from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm. A celebration of Tom’s Life will take place at Dunphy’s Memorial Chapel, following the visitation at 1:00 pm. Inurnment will follow at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cemetery, Mount Carmel, SMB.
