Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother, Theresa Sheppard, surrounded by her loving family, on Sunday, August 6th, 2023, at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital at the age of 85 years. Theresa was born in the small coastal community of Bay du Nord. She later made her way to Holyrood where she put down her roots and started her family. Cherished memories of her long life will continue to shine on in the family she leaves behind, her loving and devoted husband of 61 years, Russell, children: Darrin (Karen), Adelaide (Marvin), Steven, Chris (Jeanine) and Leslie (Julie), her granddaughters: Hailey, Hannah, Kendra and Ashlyn, who were the light of her life. Theresa will be dearly missed by all that knew her. The Sheppard family asks that she be remembered for the joy she brought to others in life not the sadness of her passing. Cremation has taken place. A private family ceremony will be held at Dunphy’s Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 9th, 2023.
