Rodney William Hall

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our loving husband, father and grandfather, Rodney William Hall on Saturday, September 10th, 2022 at the age of 68 years.

He was predeceased by parents Allan and June Hall, in-laws James and Claudine Bassett, brother Greg Hall, brother-in-law David Bassett and nephew David Dempsey.

Left with loving memories are his wife Mary Lou, son Montgomery (Leah), daughters; Claudine (Paul Hennessey) and Glenda (Carl), grandson William Hennessey and sister Holly Benmore, Sisters-in-law: Elizabeth (Pat) Dempsey, Dorothea (Craig) MacLaughlan, Catherine (Ian) Steer, Janet Paxton Bassett and Millie Hall, as well as a large circle of family and friends.

As per Rod’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of his life will be held on Sunday, October 16, 2022 at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch No. 1, 57 Blackmarsh Road, St. John's from 2:30 pm to 6:30 pm.

If friends so desire, donations in Rod’s memory may be made to The Gathering Place or to a charity of one’s choice.
