It is with profound sadness that we bid farewell to our loving son and brother, Ralphie, who left us on January 27th, 2025 and has gone to join his Dad (Dick) who left us on February 12th, 2024. Also predeceased by his nannies and poppies, Mike and Rita Lewis, Weldon and Clare Dunphy.
Left with precious memories are his mom Debbie, brothers; Neal (Karen) & Chris (Priscilla) and sister Anne. He will also be sadly missed by his many aunts, uncles and many other relatives and friends. Ralphie was one who loved the outdoors and greatly appreciated all those young people who took the time to work with him and become his buddies after school, weekends and summer vacation. Too many to list, you added quality to his life and he loved you all.
Ralphie loved music, dancing and going for drives. His life was enriched by his many homecare workers, provided by the Best of Care Agency. We are especially grateful to Wanda, Kay, Margie, Carolann and Katelynn who were like nannies to him. Ralphie loved his neighbours; Webb and Isabel Hearn. He loved Webb's visits as it gave him the opportunity to mischievously torment him.
A special thank you to the staff on 7th West and 6th East at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital for their kind and special care of Ralphie during his 10 weeks stay and especially to Dr. Thava and his colleagues.
Cremation has taken place. Resting at Dunphy's Funeral Home, Holyrood. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, February 11th from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, February 12th, 2025 at 11:00 am from Good Shepherd Parish Church, St. Joseph’s, SMB. Inurnment will take place at a later date. Donations may be made in Ralphie's memory to the Autism Society or Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cemetery Fund.
