Phyllis M. (nee Rideout) Crocker

Passed peacefully away on Wednesday, August 24th, 2022 surrounded by her loving family, Phyllis Mary Crocker (nee Rideout) of Goulds, age 69 years. She was predeceased by her husband, Wayne Crocker, father Raymond Rideout, brother Wayne Rideout, nephews: Glenn and Terry Rideout and members of the Rideout and Crocker Family. 

Phyllis leaves to mourn her loving sons: Jamie Maloney (Tina), Sandy Maloney (Tracy) and devoted daughter Christina Hunt (Shane). Her pride and joy, her grandchildren: Demitri, Declan, Cassidy, Maddie, Alex, Taylor and Lacie who continued to brighten her days until the very end. Step-children: Leona, Angie, Stephen, Matthew and families.  Loving mother, Roma (nee Lethbridge) Rideout.

Sisters and best friends: Margaret Ann (Junior Boudreau), Gladys (Harry Everard), Jenny (Geoff Murphy), Bonnie (Jim Brennan), Diane (Ronnie Fitzpatrick) and “chosen sister” cousin Renee Williams.

Devoted brothers: John (Diane), Rodney (Eileen), Ray (Alanna), Bobby (Lori). Special brother-in-law George Crocker (Wendy), sister-in-law Jeannie, uncle Frank Fowler, numerous nieces, nephews and extended families and friends.

A special thank you to her sister Jenny and brother-in-law Geoff who graciously opened their home to fulfill Phyllis’ last wish to spend her final days with her family and friends.

At Phyllis’ request, cremation has taken place. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Avenue, Mount Pearl. Visitation will take place on Sunday, August 28th, 2022 from 12:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Kevin’s Catholic Church, 454 Main Road, Goulds on Monday, August 29th, 2022 at 1:00 pm with inurnment to follow at St. Kevin’s Cemetery, Goulds.
