Pauline Mary (nee King) Norman

October 2 1928 – December 3 2022 (Age 94)

Pauline Mary Norman of Holyrood passed peacefully away on December 3rd, 2022, at the Health Sciences Centre, in her 94th year, surrounded by her loving family.

Pauline was predeceased by her loving and devoted husband, Leo Norman (WWII Veteran, Royal Navy LT/JX216764), precious baby boy Richard, son-in-law Patrick Ezekiel, parents George and Elizabeth King, brothers Kevin, Patrick, Michael, Thomas and sisters Kitty and Mary, special sister-in-law Bride King.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, daughters; Marjorie Terry (Patrick), Patricia Ezekiel (Patrick deceased), son Leo Norman (Geraldine), grandchildren; Lee Ann (Billy), Paulette (Peter), Dean (Christa), Tracey (Donnie), Emily (Craig), Maggie (Jason) and precious great-grandchildren, Joshua, Alexandra (Grady), Austin, Peter, Gracie, James and Quinn Pauline and many special nieces and nephews.

Mom was very devoted to her family and her faith. She took pride in her home and loved family gatherings to celebrate milestones and accomplishments and was always interested in our well-being. Mom loved outings, especially with family, the destination never mattered, it was always about the company. She had wonderful memories of travel, camping, trouting, berry picking, playing cards and time spent at  Marina Golden Age 50 Plus Club and Worsley Park Seniors Club. She loved visits from family and friends and was especially excited to see and hear about her grand-children and great-grandchildren. Mom was a proud member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 64 Ladies Auxiliary in Holyrood and played an active role for many years.

Our family will be forever grateful for the extraordinary care, kindness, and compassion shown to mom by her caregiver Shirley Terry, her dedicated family physician, Dr. F. K. Essaji, and the exceptional staff at the Health Sciences Centre; Dr. Martin, the emergency staff and the truly exceptional staff of 4NA, not only making mom comfortable but also our family.

Resting at Dunphy's Funeral Home, Holyrood. Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 4th, from 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm., Monday December 5th from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Holyrood on Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at 11:00 am with interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery Holyrood.
