Patrick J. "Paddy" Walsh

It is with great sadness that the family of Patrick James Walsh announce his passing on Tuesday, October 29th, 2024, at the age of 71.

He was predeceased by his son; Sean Patrick, father; Walter Walsh, sister; Eileen and parents-in-law; Margaret and Thomas O'Connell.

Left with fond and loving memories are his wife of 41 years, Colleen, son, Colin (Nicole), three special grandchildren: Reid, Sutton, and Sloane, his devoted mother, Geraldine (nee Mason), brothers: Wally (Shirley), Ed and Wayne, sisters: Ann Marie (Wayne) and Geraldine (Tony), sisters-in-law: Shirley (Billy) and Geralyn, brother-in-law; Wayne (Suzanne), nieces and nephews, as well as a large circle of extended family, friends and his brothers and sisters of the International Brotherhood of Boilermakers Local 203 in which he was a proud member of for 42 years.

Resting at Dunphy's Funeral Home, Holyrood. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 1st from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Cross Church, Holyrood on Saturday, November 2nd, 2024 at 10:30 am with cremation to follow.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Patrick’s memory may be made to the Autism Society of Newfoundland and Labrador.
