It is with tremendous sadness that we announce the passing of Patrick Francis Ezekiel (Tance) of Harbour Main at the Health Sciences Centre, surrounded by his loving family, on Monday, January 25th, 2021 at the age of 72. Tance was a proud, long-time member of UA Local 740.
He was predeceased by his father Francis Ezekiel, brother Michael Ezekiel, brother-in-law Herb Gulliver, and father-in-law Leo Norman.
Tance left with fond and loving memories, his devoted wife of 50 years, Patricia Ezekiel (nee Norman), daughter Paulette (Peter) Quinlan; son Dean (Christa) Ezekiel; his cherished grandchildren; Alexandra, Peter, Joshua, and Austin, his adoring mother Helen Ezekiel (nee Woodford), his loving sisters Grace Gulliver and Dot (Bill) Costello, mother-in-law Pauline Norman, sisters-in-law Jenny Ezekiel and Marjorie Terry, brother-in-law Leo Norman (Geraldine); numerous aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends. Special thanks to Bill Costello and Tracey Perry.
The family is forever grateful for the kindness, compassion and professionalism shown by his family physician Dr. F.K. Essaji, staff at the Health Sciences Centre including Dr. Armstrong and her team, and the 5 South B nursing staff.
Resting at Dunphy's Funeral Home, Holyrood. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 27th and Thursday, January 28th from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm & 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Covid-19 Restrictions apply. Attendance at the funeral is by invitation only, if you wish to attend the service, please contact the family prior to the service. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Sts. Peter & Paul Church, Harbour Main on Friday, January 29th, 2021 at 10:30 am with interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Holyrood. The service will be live streamed, to view the service virtually, please see the link below.
