P. Theresa (nee Penney) Crowley

Patricia Theresa Crowley (nee Penney) passed peacefully away in her 90th year at home in Chapel’s Cove, surrounded by family, on July.15, 2022.

She was predeceased by her: husband Patrick, children; Margaret, Barbara, and Paddy, great-granddaughter Sophia and parents Michael & Anastasia.

Left with loving memories, her children: Joan (Patrick) Healey, James (Violet), Gerald, who resided with her, Francis (Darla), William, Anne Marie (Joseph) Dwyer, Kevin (Beth) and Eugene, 18 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, sister Ann Walsh, numerous nieces, nephews, and many extended family and friends. Patricia was strong-willed and fierce, with a heart of gold. She was Mother to many foster children and had a hand in raising many of her grandchildren over the years. She loved a game of bingo and a game of cards. Special thanks to her attentive care workers; Angela Murray and Helen Cole, who provided exceptional care in the last few months of her life, as well as Dr. Lake and the Community Care Team of Eastern Health. She is dearly loved and will be forever missed.

Resting at Dunphy’s Funeral Home, Holyrood. Visitation will take place on Saturday, July 16, from 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm and Sunday July 17 from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Hr. Main on Monday, July 18, 2022 at 10:30 am with Interment to follow at Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Chapel’s Cove.
