Mona Theresa (née Crawley) Watts

Passed peacefully away in the presence of her family at the St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital, St. John’s on Monday, August 18, 2025. Mona was 63 years of age and was from Salmonier Line, Holyrood.

Mona was predeceased by her Parents; Martha & Michael Crawley, sister Madonna and brother Andy.

Left with fond and loving memories is her daughter Julia (Trent) Gushue, grandchildren; Elliott and Emma as well as brothers; Walter (Marietta) Crawley and Barry Crawley, sisters: Patricia Myers, Barbara Fitzgerald, Marie Crawley, Hilda Ryan and Bonita (Alfred) Fagan, as well as a large circle of extended family and friends.

Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Dunphy’s Funeral Home, Holyrood on Monday, August 25th from 2:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Holyrood on Tuesday, August 26, 2025 at 10:30 am with inurnment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Holyrood.
