Michael Joseph Dalton

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved father, grandfather, great grandfather and brother following a courageous battle of cancer on Thursday, October 2, 2025 at the age of 75 years.

He was predeceased by his parents; Michael and Frances Dalton, the mother of his children, Josephine Fitzpatrick.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his children: Frankie (Kenneth), Dwayne (Denise) and Gerri Lynn (Tony), sisters; Marie (Paddy) and Colleen, brother, Don, grandchildren: Ronald (Shannon), Tyler (Andrea) and Erica (Conor) and precious great grandson, Michael James  as well as his nieces, nephews and large circle of family and friends.  

At Michael’s request, cremation has taken place. Resting at Dunphy’s Funeral Home, Holyrood. Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 5th from 2:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Harbour Main on Monday, October 6, 2025 at 10:30 am with inurnment to follow in the columbarium at Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Harbour Main

In lieu of flowers donations in Michael’s memory may be made to the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Foundation.
