It's with the greatest of sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved sister, Donna on March 27th, 2025. Born Mary Madonna Woodford, from Harbour Main.
Donna was preceded by her Mother Mary Woodford and father Bill Woodford and her cat Duke. Leaving to mourn are her son Mark Huff, life partner Charlie Costigan, brothers and sisters: Betty, Kyran, Olga, Laura (Steve), Tina (Ron), Hilda (Glenn), Wilma and Martin. 16 nieces and nephews, 15 great nieces and nephews, and 3 great-great nieces and nephews, as well as a circle of other relatives and friends.
Life will not be the same for any of us without her. Donna was loved by all who came into her life. She loved with passion and cared for all of us. The softest of a heart that could ever be bestowed of anyone.
We would like to thank Donna for her years of service in the blueberry patches and dandelion lawns, which she happily supplied the whole family. She will be missed by many friends that she talked of fondly, and many trips to Powell’s restaurant in Bay Roberts with her partner Charlie. So many memories, too many to mention. She was the biggest part of family gatherings and family life will not be the same without her.
Cremation has taken place, there will be no visitation. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Harbour Main on Friday, April 4th, 2025 at 10:30 am.
No flowers by request, if friends so desire, donations in Donna’s memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
Why don't you build me up a buttercup, baby.
Loved by all, missed by all.
Rest in peace, baby girl.
