Mary Martha (nee Quinlan) Corbett

Mary Martha Corbett passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family at Glenbrook Lodge, St. John’s on Friday, May 9th, 2025 at the age of 90 years.

Mary was predeceased by her parents; Harold & Mary (nee O’Leary) Quinlan, husband Joe (2023) and son Joe (2008).

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her children: Patricia (Keith), Paul (Bev), Francis (Mary), Valerie, John (Julie) and daughter-in-law Betty, 12 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren, 1 step grandchild.

Also left to mourn are her two sisters; Patricia (Sam) Atkins and Dorothy (Kevin) Wakeham. Many extended family as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends, especially her roommate Roberta Pritchette and Roberta’s children

Resting at Dunphy’s Funeral Home, Holyrood. Visitation will take place on Monday, May 12th  from 2:00 pm - 7:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 13th, 2025 at 10:30 am from Holy Cross Catholic Church, Holyrood with interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Holyrood. 

In lieu of flowers, donations in Mary’s memory may be made to Holy Cross Catholic Church, Holyrood or the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre.
