Mary Elizabeth Lacour

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our sister Mary Elizabeth Lacour of Holyrood, at the age of 76 years on Thursday, March 18th, 2021 at Pleasant View Towers. Mary loved to travel throughout her life but Wabush was a place she was proud to call home some 20 years.

She was predeceased by her parents Esther (nee Crawley) and Jack Lacour. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her: brothers; Joe (Pat) and John, nieces and nephew; Jackie (Eric) Mission, Joanne Lacour (Wayne) and Jason, great nephews; Joel, Andrew, Clarke and Jay. Mary is also survived by her special life long friends, who proved what true friendship is all about, to the end; Mary Hayes, Ray and Ann Flaherty, and Donna Armstrong, as well as a circle of other relatives and friends.

Arrangements entrusted to Dunphy's Funeral Home, Holyrood. “Due to the current Covid -19 Restrictions, cremation has taken place. Private Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Sts. Peter & Paul Church, Harbour Main on Saturday, March 27, 2021 with interment to follow at Sts. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Harbour Main.
