Mary Bridget (nee Fewer) Woodford

Mary passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family at her home in Chapel’s Cove on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at the wonderful age of 87. She was predeceased by her daughter, Marlene and her husband Kevin, parents; Christopher and Philomena (nee Dobbin) Fewer, sister and brother-in-law Marie and Bill Buckle, brothers: Martin, Thomas and John and Marie, Mother and father-in-law; Anne and Patrick Woodford, sister-in-law Mary (Gerald) McCarthy, brothers-in-law; Leo (Beth) Woodford, Ned Woodford and Patrick Woodford.

Left with fond and loving memories are her children: Ann (Jerome Cole), Mena (Gerard Cole), Kevin (Joanne) and Linus (Sherri), grandchildren: Christopher Woodford, Marlene (Jason Furlong), Melissa (Evan Farrell), Jessica (Allan Porter), Taylor, Brandon (Gerri-Lynn), Nicholas (Maddi), Riley Woodford and Addison Whalen (Isaac), great-grandchildren: Jayce & Weston Furlong and Ashlyn & Bryce Farrell, sister, Philomena Fewer and sister-in-law Beth Woodford as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Resting at Dunphy’s Funeral Home, Holyrood, visitation will be held on Saturday and Sunday, July 6th and 7th, 2024 from 1:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Sts. Peter and Paul Church, Harbour Main on Monday, July 8th at 10:30 am with interment to follow at Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Chapel’s Cove. For those unable to attend, the funeral mass will be livestreamed with the link available below.
