Rita passed peacefully away at her home in Chapel’s Cove surrounded by her loving family, on Monday, September 27, 2021, Rita Corbett in her 89th year. She was predeceased by her husband; John S. (Jack), sons; Steve and Kevin, parents; John and Margaret Yetman, sister; Bridget St. Croix (Allan), brothers; Walter, Bill, John, George and Cyril.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories; her daughter; Theresa Earles (Mike), sons; John (Michelle) and Walter (Debbie), daughter-in-law; Bobbi, grandchildren; Stephanie (Jason), Chrissy (Dennis), Jeffrey, Jonathan (Misty), Kathleen, Nicholas, Andrew (Hailey), great grandchildren whom she adored; Emily, Ryan, Mitchell, Ally and Jaxon. Her brother; Larry (Doris), nieces and nephews. Resting at Dunphy’s Funeral Home, Holyrood. A Public visitation, everyone is welcome to attend, will be held on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. The funeral service is by invitation only due to Covid-19 Restrictions. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Harbour Main on Thursday, September 30, 2021 at 10:30 am with cremation to follow. Interment will be held at 11:30 am on Friday, October 1, 2021 at Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Chapel’s Cove.
