It is with heavy hearts that the family announce the sudden passing of Loretta Grace on Wednesday, July 1, 2026 at the age of 68 years.
During her final days, Loretta was surrounded by the love of her devoted sons, Darrell and Darcy, who remained by her side.
Loretta was predeceased by her loving parents; Patricia and Richard Grace, sister Susan Hicks, brothers: Buck, Paul and Phonse Grace, brothers-in-law; Ken Gibbons and Frank Griffin.
She leaves behind with cherished memories her sons; Darrel and Darcy (Gill) Brinston, her grandchildren who she adored; Ava and Bryce. Also mourning her loss are her sisters: Theresa, Bernice, Liz and Hazel (Stephen) Barron, brothers: Paddy, Joe (Sherry), Bob (Rita), brother-in-law Dave Hicks, uncle Joe Casey (Bonnie), as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends who will miss her dearly.
Loretta will be remembered for her fun-loving spirit, her love for her family and the joy she so easily brought to those around her. Her laughter and love of life will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew her. She was a woman who was never short for words on any occasion.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the doctors and nurses at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital for the compassionate care and comfort they provided for Loretta and family.
As per her wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life for immediate family and close friends is currently being planned and details will be shared once arrangements have been finalized.
The family sincerely thanks everyone for their love, kind thoughts and prayers of support during this difficult time.
