Linda Marie (nee Ershler) Morey

Linda passed away suddenly but peacefully at home on Monday, September 11th, 2023 with her husband Bill by her side.

She was predeceased by her amazing mother, Bridget Ershler (nee Crickard), father John Ershler, sister Francis Dooling, brother Jackie Ershler, her special mother-in-law Elizabeth Morey, father-in-law Bill Morey Sr, as well as sister-in-law Donna Verge (Marvin), brothers-in-law: Charlie Hamlyn, Charlie Clements and Dave Vallis, nieces; Kim Dooling and Shelley Williams and nephews; David Turner and David Ershler.

Linda is lovingly remembered by her devoted husband, Bill Morey, beautiful daughter Colleen Andrecyk, precious grandsons; Noah and Nathan, wonderful son Billy Morey (Jaclyn), granddaughters; Katie and Elizabeth, whom she adored.

Also leaving to mourn are her three brothers: Bobby (Susan), Ron (Judy) and David (Denise), eight sisters: Geraldine Hamlyn, Marg (Alt) Chafe, Debbie Turner, Sandra Galway, Diane (Johnny) Rideout, Patsy Vallis, Carmel Clements (Morley Hann) and Rosslyn (Jose) Everard, brothers-in-law: Leo (Madeline) Morey, Ken (Patsy) Morey, Pat (Denise) Morey, sisters-in-law Teddy (Jan) Van de Hulst, Ann (Richard) Corbin and Sharon (Derrick) Cove and Olga Ershler, many nieces and nephews as well as a large circle of other relatives, friends and her work family at Purity Factories.

At Linda’s request, cremation has taken place.  A funeral service to celebrate her life will be held at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Avenue, Mount Pearl on Friday, September 15th, 2023 at 12:30 pm with interment to follow at St. Kevin’s Cemetery, Goulds.  Everyone is invited to St. Kevin’s Parish Hall for a reception and a time of fellowship following the interment.
