John David "Jiggy" Pike

John David Pike (Jiggy) beloved son, brother, uncle and friend, passed from this life unexpectedly on Sunday, January 14, 2024 at the age of 62. He was predeceased by his loving parents; John and Rita (nee Vickers) Pike, sister-in-law Dolores Pike and brothers-in-law; George Griffin and John Williams. Leaving to mourn are his siblings Bonita (Jack), Dan, Margie, Ruby (Junior), Wally (Irene), Debbie and Sharon, many nieces and nephews, who held a special place in his heart. So many friends, his closest companions, especially long lifetime friend Jeff Hutchings. Through thick and thin, they stood by each other. David will be remembered for his kind heart, infectious laughter and love of music. He was the most favourite babysitter of all his nieces and nephews. He brought so much joy to all those around him.

We invite all who knew and loved David for a celebration of life on Sunday, January 28, 2024 from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm at the Shea Heights Community Centre, 130 Linegar Avenue. Please join us in honouring his memory and share in the love and support we can provide one another during this time. David will be laid to rest at a later date with his parents at Holy Cross Cemetery, Witless Bay.
