Jane "Jenny" (nee Woodford) Ezekiel

Jane “Jenny” Ezekiel born January 11, 1932 and died peacefully at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital on Sunday, November 7, 2021 at the age of 89 years. She was surrounded by her loving family and the amazing support of the St. Clare’s nursing staff.

She was predeceased by her loving husband Angus and her parents; John and Elizabeth Woodford.  Jenny leaves behind her six children:  Leonard (Lorraine), Gerry, Billy, Beverly-Ann, Angus (Sherry) and Trina (David), 14 grandchildren: Rhonda, Tiffany, Robert, Lesley, Kellie, Bree, Jennifer, Jessica, Joseph, Dominique, Collin, Dawson, Madison and Jorja, 27 great-grandchildren, her one remaining sibling, John Woodford, as well as a circle of other relatives and friends.

Jenny loved her family fiercely and taught us to love and take care of each other. She lived a long and full life, her memory and spirit will live on in each of us forever.  Mom will be missed but we have found comfort in knowing that she is now with the love of her life, our father. We would like to give a special thank-you to her granddaughter Dominique Wadden for the unwavering support she provided our mother in her elderly years. 

Resting at Dunphy’s Funeral Home, Holyrood. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, November 10th from 1-4 pm and 7-9 pm. As per Covid-19 Restrictions, the Covid Passport and a Photo ID will be required to attend the Visitation and Service. The funeral service is private and by invitation only (for those invited to attend the service, please arrive 15 to 20 minutes prior to the service so the ushers may scan your NLVaxPass and seat you.) A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Harbour Main on Thursday, November 11, 2021 at 1:00 pm with cremation to follow.
