Irene M. "Rene" Fewer

It is with heavy hearts that we are saddened to announce the sudden passing of Irene Fewer in her 70th year. Irene (Rene) was predeceased by her husband Dan Sullivan, her parents; Patrick and Philomena Fewer, brothers: Martin, Greg, Ned, Clar and Gord, sister Kit, nephews: AJ Sullivan, Gary Fewer and Scott Lewis, brothers-in-law Adrian and Nick Sullivan.

 Leaving to mourn, with fond and loving memories are her daughters; Karen (Mike) and Wanda (Larry) son Danny (Shannon), five grandchildren: Chantelle, Kailee (Devin), Danielle, Jesse (Chelsey) and Shane (Brianna), sister Maizie and sisters-in-law; Helen and Ruby, best friend and “partner in crime” Pete. She will be missed by her many nieces, nephews and a circle of other relatives and friends. The family would like to offer a very special thank you to staff at the Mount Pearl Square Dialysis Unit for all care and compassion shown to mom.

Resting at Dunphy’s Funeral Home, Holyrood. Visitation will take place on Saturday, June 11th from 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm & 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm and Sunday, June 12th from 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm & 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Monday, June 13th, 2022 at Assumption Catholic Church, Avondale with interment to follow at Assumption Cemetery, Avondale.
