Helena (nee Corbett) Walsh-Meaney

Walsh - Meaney , Helena (nee Corbett) December 22, 1933 - August 10, 2020 It is with great sadness the family of Helena Meaney, announce her peaceful passing in the presence of her loving family on Monday, August 10, 2020 at 86 years of age. She was predeceased by her first husband, Albert Walsh in 1978 and her second husband, John Meaney in 1993. Helena was also predeceased by her: parents; Stephen and Helena Corbett, brothers; Jack and Pad, sisters; Catherine, Mary, Marie and Theresa. Leaving to mourn with loving memories her: sons; David (Jean) and Gordon (Jeanine), daughters; Laura, with whom she resided and Shirley (Alvin Kenny). Helena also leaves to mourn her grandchildren, whom she loved very dearly: Michael Walsh (Janice), Kristin Wammes (Chris), Janine Walsh, Jonathon Kenny, Bradley Walsh (Tanya Ambrose), Jason Kenny, and Gregory Walsh, her great-grandchildren, whom she loved very dearly: Brianna and Memphis Walsh, Kayl Ambrose and Kylie Walsh, Benjamin, Emma and Kate Wammes, Natalie Walsh, and Aiden Walsh, her brother Edward (Mary) Corbett, as well as many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Dunphy's Funeral Home, Holyrood, at mom's request, cremation has taken place. Due to the current Covid-19 Restrictions, a Private Funeral Service will be celebrated at Holy Cross Church, Holyrood on Tuesday, August 18, 2020 with Inurnment to follow in the family plot at Holy Cross Cemetery, Holyrood.
