Grace Hannon of Harbour Main passed away suddenly but peacefully at the Health Sciences Centre, on Friday, March 18, 2022 at 93 years of age.
She was predeceased by her loving and devoted husband Gerald, parents; Mary & Edward Cleary, brother Richard (Dick) Cleary and sister-in-law Elizabeth Cleary (nee Quinlan).
Grace is lovingly remembered by her son Patrick, sister Kathleen (Joseph) Wall, nieces; Sandra Kelly (nee Wall) and Lynn Ann Hickey (nee Cleary), nephews; Walter Wall, Aiden Wall and John Cleary, as well as other extended family members and friends.
Grace lived a private life with her family, living in various provinces across the country while her husband Gerald served in the Canadian Armed Forces before settling permanently back in her hometown of Harbour Main. Grace was quiet and kind-hearted and always gave family members cards for special occasions. She will always be remembered and hold a special place in our hearts.
Cremation has taken place. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Harbour Main on Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at 10:30 am with interment to follow at Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Harbour Main.
