Denikki Thompson

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Denikki following a lengthy battle with COPD on Tuesday, April 22nd, 2025 at the age 58 years.

She was predeceased by her parents; Gordon C. and Dorothy V. (nee Jones) Thompson and brothers; Gordon A. Thompson – nick name Charlie Brown and Landon N. Thompson - nick name Lonnie.

Denikki is lovingly remembered by her daughter; Mary-Alice (Declan Unsworth), sister; Kimberley D. Walsh (Jerome), brothers: Samuel L. Thompson (Joyce Perry), Scott D. Thompson (Laura Thompson), Walter D. Thompson (Theo Pardy) and Cornelious R.J. Thompson - nick name Khon, nieces, nephews, cousins, as well as a circle of other relatives and friends.

She was a wise strong-minded individual who had a passion for everything she did in life. Denikki was a devoted and loving mother, sister and friend. She will surely be missed by all. Denikki loved life and she had a great sense of humor. She loved making people laugh with her jokes and puppets. She was most passionate about her love for nature and animals. A true, genuine, loving mother, sister and friend. “May her soul rest in peace”

Cremation has taken place. Resting at Dunphy’s Funeral Home, Holyrood on Monday, April 28th from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A Funeral Service to celebrate Denikki’s life will be held at Dunphy’s Memorial Chapel, Holyrood on Tuesday, April 29th, 2025 at 11:00 am.
