It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved son, grandson, brother, uncle and friend on August 30, 2025 at the age of 27 years.
He was predeceased by his grandparents; Patrick and Theresa Crowley, his grandfather John Healey, uncles; Wayne Hillegass and Gerard Kennedy and aunt, Patti Healey.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his father Will, mother Jackie, brothers; Andrew and Jeff (Julia), special nephews; Ben and Sam, whom he adored, his grandmother Aggie Healey, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, co-workers and great friends.
Cody overcame a major obstacle as an infant with his battle with leukemia. Although his memory of that was non-existent to him – the Candlelighters Association of NL held a special place in his heart.
Cody was passionate about sports, cars and music, especially his Edmonton Oilers, Toronto Blue Jays and Formula One.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Dunphy’s Funeral Home, Holyrood on Friday, September 5th from 2:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Holyrood on Saturday, September 6, 2025 at 10:30 am with inurnment to follow in the columbarium at Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Chapel’s Cove.
If friends so desire, donations in Cody’s memory may be made to the Candlelighters Association of NL or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
