Chadwick Fowler Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Chad Fowler, who left us far too soon, at the young age of 44. A devoted husband, a loving father and a cherished friend. He touched the lives of all who knew him with his charm, kindness and unwavering love for his family.

Chad was the beloved husband of Deanne, with whom he shared a beautiful life filled with love, laughter and cherished memories. He was a proud and devoted father to his two children, Lyncoln and Quinn, whom he adored beyond measure. He enjoyed camping, kayaking, snowmobiling and puttering around the yard finding some DIY or fix-it project while listening to his music loudly on the outdoor speaker. Although he had enormous pride for his home and an almost unhealthy obsession with his truck, his greatest joy was spending time at home with his family, creating moments that will be treasured forever. He was a force and his legacy of unending strength and determination will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

He will be deeply missed by his loving mother, Brenda; stepfather, Gary Hussey; aunt Dianne and uncle Dennis along with his cousins, DJ and Chris Ralph. Also left to mourn are his father, Leonard Fowler; stepmother, Sharon; half-sister, Brooke; parents-in-law, Carolyn and Leslie Nurse, sister-in-law Michelle (Nurse) and brother-in-law Herb Simms, nieces; Rebecca and Daryn Simms, extended family, and a wide circle of friends who were lucky enough to know his warmth and kindness.

A visitation to celebrate Chad’s life will be held on Sunday, March 2nd from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Dunphy’s Funeral Home, Holyrood, where family and friends can gather to honor his memory. A Funeral Service will be held at Dunphy’s Memorial Chapel on Monday, March 3rd, 2025 at 2:00 pm with cremation to follow.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his honor to SPCA Happy Valley-Goose Bay, Ambers Safe Haven Inc. or any other animal rescue group.

Though he is no longer with us, his spirit will forever remain in the lives he touched. We will love and miss him always.

“A hero is an ordinary individual who finds the strength to persevere and endure despite overwhelming obstacles.”

- Christopher Reeve (Superman)
