Brian Tuff of Holyrood, passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre on Sunday, October 2, 2022 in his 72nd year. He was predeceased by his parents; William and Violet, brothers: David (Jean), Graham and Gary, special aunt and uncle Cavell and Herb Ingerman and his dog, Kenton, who he loved so much. Left with so many wonderful memories of their 45 years together are his wife Marilyn (Wade), special brother and sister-in-law Tim and Eileen Wade, lifelong friend and cousin Wayne Ingerman, his partner in his mechanical projects, Dewayne Wade and debating buddy, Clyde Hynes, sisters-in-law; Joan and Mary. Brian cherished his nieces and nephews and especially his cousin Charmaine Pontlitz. He will be missed by his furry friends Whiskers and Puddy.
Brian was a lover of the outdoors. He enjoyed fishing, going on his side by side and having a cook up in the woods. His absolute favourite thing to do was skidoo. He lived and breathed waiting for winter to get a ride on his sled.
He had an intellectual curiosity about everything mechanical. If Brian couldn’t fix it, it couldn’t be fixed. If it couldn’t be fixed, he would just create a new design. He was recognized in an American magazine for his detailed solution to a problem that even the manufacturer could not resolve.
Brian never met a stranger and had so many great friends and neighbours, whom he dearly treasured.
Cremation has taken place, visitation will take place at Dunphy’s Funeral Home, Holyrood on Thursday, October 13 from 1:00 pm- 8:00 pm. Funeral service will be held at Dunphy’s Funeral Home on Friday, October 14, 2022 at 11:00 am.
