It is with profound heartbreak and great sadness that we announce the passing of Alexander Dennis of Holyrood, age 31, on December 6, 2024, at the Health Sciences Centre.
Left with broken hearts and beautiful memories, his devoted mom, Lisa Kelly, his sister and best buddy, Olivia (Dennis), his nan, Rita Kelly, father, Quintin Dennis, many adoring cousins, aunts, and uncles who all loved and cherished him and long-time caregiver Nancy.
Alexander lived his life large. He supervised all projects with zest and a keen eye. He laughed from the belly, and we all laughed with him. He reminded us with his gentle manner that perspective was the key.
Alexander had one of the biggest smiles and an even bigger heart. If you allowed him into your life, he showed you the beauty and wonder of even the smallest things. His laugh was contagious, and his eyes told the most amazing stories. He will be forever missed and always remembered as the strong, resilient, and kind person he was. My beautiful boy, go rest, until we meet again.
Resting at Dunphy’s Funeral Home, Holyrood, Visitation will take place on Wednesday, December 11 from 2:00 pm – 8:00 pm. A service to celebrate Alexander’s Life will be held at Dunphy’s Memorial Chapel on Thursday, December 12, 2024 at 11:00 am with cremation to follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Alexander’s memory may be made to Easter Seals or the SPCA St. John’s.
